15aidffThe 15th Athens International Digital Film Festival (AIDFF) returns with renewed momentum, continuing its dynamic course as one of the most innovative and inclusive platforms for cinematic and digital arts in Greece and internationally. The upcoming edition will take place from December 3 to December 9, 2026, transforming Athens into a vibrant hub of cinematic expression, creativity, and cultural exchange.

Film submissions will officially open on June 20, 2026, inviting filmmakers from around the world to participate in a festival that remains committed to artistic freedom and the presentation of all forms of audiovisual storytelling.

AIDFF stands out as the only festival in Greece that showcases the full spectrum of cinematic and digital creation without limitations, including fiction, documentary, experimental cinema, animation, video art, dance films, and emerging hybrid forms. At the same time, it embraces innovation by integrating new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, VR, and immersive storytelling into the cinematic experience.

The 15th edition will expand across multiple venues in Athens, forming a multi-centered cultural network that brings cinema closer to the public and enhances the diffusion of contemporary culture throughout the city.

The program will also include the International Panorama of Ecological and Scientific Films, as well as the International Film Script Festival, further establishing AIDFF as a platform not only for screening but also for development, education, and networking among creators worldwide.

Continuing its commitment to innovation and education, the festival will host masterclasses, workshops, and special events aimed at both established professionals and emerging filmmakers, while actively supporting independent film production and creative experimentation.

With consistency, vision, and continuous growth, AIDFF reaffirms its role as a contemporary cultural platform that bridges art with technology, local creativity with the international scene, and filmmakers with audiences.
