The 15th Athens International Digital Film Festival (AIDFF), taking place from December 3–9, 2026, continues its dynamic preparation process, shaping a multidimensional international program dedicated to contemporary cinema, new forms of storytelling, and digital creation. Following the announcement of its landmark 15th edition, the festival has already attracted strong interest from filmmakers, artists, and collaborators from Greece and abroad, reaffirming its growing international presence and its ongoing contribution to the fields of cinema and digital arts.
Official submissions for films and projects will open on June 20, 2026. This year’s edition will once again embrace all forms of audiovisual expression, including fiction, documentary, animation, video art, experimental cinema, dance films, digital and hybrid narratives, as well as works exploring artificial intelligence technologies and immersive media.
At the same time, AIDFF is currently developing a series of special tributes, international collaborations, educational activities, masterclasses, and thematic sections, which will be gradually announced over the coming months.
As part of its broader cultural activity, the festival will also continue:
- the International Panorama of Ecological and Scientific Films,
- the International Screenplay Festival,
- as well as new initiatives designed to strengthen the relationship between cinema, technology, and education.

As in previous years, the festival will expand across multiple venues throughout Athens, reinforcing its open and multi-centered character while creating meeting points for filmmakers, professionals, artists, and audiences.
AIDFF remains committed to supporting independent filmmaking and fostering an international network of cultural exchange that connects diverse artistic voices and contemporary audiovisual practices.
Further announcements regarding the official program, partnerships, and parallel events of the 15th AIDFF will follow soon.
